Chico Unified is making the process easier than ever with our new Parchment online request form. We're excited to offer this service because it makes ordering transcripts smoother for you, more efficient for your school and ensures your transcripts arrive at the colleges you choose in the format they prefer.
Who Can Request Transcripts?
Once you're a legal adult (18 years or older), you'll need to make the transcript request yourself. Just a friendly heads-up: for adult students, parents/guardians, spouses, or other family members can't request records or transcripts on your behalf.

Need a transcript? There's a difference between official and unofficial.
- Official transcripts are the only kind colleges, universities, and employers will accept for admissions and formal applications. They are sealed, verified with an official school seal and signature, and sent directly to the destination.
- Unofficial transcripts are for you to use if you need a copy for your own personal records or for an informal purpose. You can request one by calling the Chico Unified School District office directly at (530) 891-3000, extension 20813.

If you're a current Oakdale student, just reach out to our counseling office. If you're a minor (under the age of 18), your parent/guardian can also make this request for you at your current school.
